Do you take your bike to a workshop for basic repairs like a flat tire, brakes or gear adjustments, and think "I really should learn to do this myself..."? Well, now here's your opportunity to learn the secrets of basic bike mechanics.

We're running a series of evening classes on Bike Basics, covering basic mechanics like fixing a flat tire, fine tuning gears, adjusting brakes, plus how to look after your body by getting the best position on the bike and preventing injuries. We've invited an expert guest speaker physio for some essential cycling specific advice.

To make this series extra special we're including important nutritional information about what to eat before and during your event, a section on bunch riding etiquette, and... a real group ride on Sunday to learn new skills and put that group etiquette into practice! Note the ride will be followed by a cafe stop for those who are keen.
